This mosaic design was found in Galilee in an ancient fishermen town facing the Galilee Sea. The original mosaic artwork can be seen thanks to the excavations that took place.

It is both a Jewish symbol, being part of the design of a Synagogue, and a Christian symbol, Mary Magdala living in that town.

The bi-color design makes this mosaic artwork even more interesting, having the eye of the viewer balancing between the two universes.
